HOLY CRAAAAAP!!!
I just finished reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman and I think i finally understand why people work themselves into seizurous frenzies over Neil Gaiman's work. The man is brilliant. disgustingly brilliant. I find myself in the same position I was after reading Ready, Okay! (Adam Cadre), The Taking (Dean Koontz), and wathing Skins (The UK's Channel 4): in serious need of revision in my own writing. Once again I feel inadequite as a writer, but better as a human being for having read this.
