While on the subject of Superman, and alternate histories, I am in awe of, in love with, and murderously jealous of Superman: Red Son.
Imagine is superman, America's greatest hero, had landed in the Soviet Union at the height of the Red Scare and the Cold War. Imagine if he were groomed by Stalin and the two men of steel were able to "perfect" and spread the communist ideal worldwide. It's awesome. Read it.
