WHY SO INNOCENT?

Orioto at DeviantArt made this pop culture mashup.
CHARACTER DESIGN +

I'm thinking it might be a good idea for me to create a set of physical "encyclopedias" full of all the reference images I come across for my writing. I could have books of scenery that inspires me, potential physical features for characters, clothing that inspires me or would represent a character well, ideas for scene setup, pop culture references, visual effects, etc. All this would help both myself in writing and my artists in illustration.

Reference Encyclopedias...Word.
WHO'S NAILIN PALIN?

Adam Cadre, the author of Ready, Okay! posted this completely real, un-doctored, candid photograph of Sarah Palin and John McCain, probably after they got the news about Obama. I don't know where it came from, but it needs to be shared with the world.
REAL SHIRT, FOR REAL

For the past few years, there have been tshirts like the one below that feature the members of NWA. The other most popular one features the members of The Beatles.

And then I ran into these Twilight ones.

Now, I don't hate Twilight, even though I'm not a big fan of love. But there are other things that are in dire need of a thsirt.

Like Skins! Where's my shirt that says:

I just might have to make one.
SKINS (SEASON 3) GANG

AdULTHOOD (yes, that's how its supposed to look)

The sequel to Kidulthood.

AdULTHOOD on IMDB
This new year looks and smells just like the old one. Ugh.

There's a game called "Anywhere but Here". The object of this game is for you and your friends to name all the places you'd prefer to be instead of where you are. Really, its the type of thing you play when you're in a nuclear fallout shelter with nothing to do but reflect on your fate, but it could easily be a game for casual hangouts. Try it. I'd rather be in South Windsor right now.
